Grace Fu, Executive Vice President of Human Resources, General Counsel & Secretary, Barneys New York, USA
Grace Fu is Executive Vice President of Human Resources, General Counsel and Secretary of Barneys New York. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Barneys New York Foundation. In her capacity as General Counsel, she advises on all legal matters pertaining to the business, including labor and employment, contracts and transactions, litigation, regulatory issues, intellectual property, real estate and philanthropy. As Executive Vice President of Human Resources, she oversees all human resources functions at Barneys, including talent acquisition and recruiting, benefits administration and company-wide training, development and engagement. Ms. Fu was previously Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Tiger Management, where she advised on the firm’s legal and compliance matters. In connection with her role at Tiger, she also advised the Robertson Foundation and Tiger Foundation. Prior to working at Tiger, Ms. Fu practiced as an attorney in the Mergers & Acquisitions department at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in New York City. At Skadden, Ms. Fu was active in the firm’s diversity, recruiting and pro bono initiatives. Ms. Fu is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard University Graduate School of Arts & Sciences and the University of Virginia School of Law.

Nishat Ruiter, General Counsel, TED Conferences, USA
Nishat Ruiter is General Counsel of TED conferences, a non profit organization that believes passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and, ultimately, the world. Through creativity, and a deep respect for TED's mission, Nishat's work is centered on ensuring that TED's legal requirements are met through a combination of practical and creative solutions that meets its needs, while still retaining the authentic TED voice across every area where possible. She manages the legal issues with respect to TED's licensing, partnerships, TM, brand protection, TED's code of conduct, data privacy, copyright, transactions and all corporate legal matters. Prior to TED, she worked as Associate General Counsel where she spent ten years in a variety of roles including managing legal issues on all marketing and advertising, M&A integration, and led the North American legal team responsible for the legal review of $1B/year in licensing transactions at CA Technologies. She also worked as Managing Counsel at LivePerson, provided in house counsel legal support to Chubb Insurance, Binary Tree.com and Capco. She is a visiting guest lecturer at Fordham Law School (New York) since 2013, faculty for the Practicing Law Institute, and has served on the Editorial Board of the International In-house Counsel Journal (London). Inspired by a Bahá’í perspective on things, she loves resolving the most complex problems with an elegant solution, but always with coffee on hand. She enjoys music, tennis, hosting Spiritual Cafes in her community to foster meaningful conversations, and finding connectedness with people from all walks of life. Juliette Passer, President and General Counsel, PanaManagement Corporation, USA
Juliette is an accomplished senior executive and has the ability to help companies accelerate their penetration and growth in the United States and abroad. Juliette has performed successfully in her role for over twenty-eight years, also serving as counsel to the legal implications and nuances of these expansions. She is particularly knowledgeable in markets including the former USSR, Eastern and Western Europe, China, Turkey, and Panama. Robert Schwartz, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, Deer Park Road Capital Management Company, USA
Rob Schwartz is responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance aspects of Deer Park Road Management Company, a manager of hedge funds and mutual funds in the fixed income markets. Mr. Schwartz brings over 20 years’ experience in the legal and compliance sector. Prior to joining the firm, he was General Counsel and CCO at Loeb King Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Schwartz was Managing Director at Nomura Corporate Research and Asset Management which managed $12B of High Yield and Leveraged Loan assets. Robert Vitale, Managing Director and General Counsel, EIG Global Energy Partners, USA

Khristi Driver, Associate General Counsel, Southern Nuclear Operating Company, Inc., USA
Khristi Doss Driver has over 18 years combined experience as a lawyer and corporate compliance leader. Culture-focused, she is passionate about understanding the why behind behaviors and influencing positive change in workplace environments. Khristi currently serves as associate general counsel and director of Compliance & Employee Concerns for Southern Nuclear. In this position, Khristi holds unescorted access to and advises personnel at the three currently operating nuclear plants in Southern Nuclear’s fleet as well as the two new AP1000 units under construction at the Vogtle site. The Employee Concerns and Compliance team she supervises plays an important part in maintaining nuclear safety culture, and her legal experience includes extensive support of construction at Vogtle units 3&4. In 2018, Khristi successfully completed the Reactor Technology Course for Utility Executives at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Previously, she has worked in various legal and compliance roles within the Southern Company system, including training directly with the Southern Company general counsel in a two-year assignment. She first joined the company in 2011, after 11 years as an insurance defense litigator in the private sector.
