HELP WANTED: Sensible Immigration Options for U.S. Employers

“Nobody wants to work anymore” as evidenced by the Great Resignation is a sentiment that has been widely publicized, and has seemingly become part of the American psyche following two and a half years of a global pandemic, stay at home orders, and supply chain breakdowns. Many companies have experienced an employee exodus. In certain cases, employers have relied upon their remaining workers to fill the gaps, while others have shuttered their businesses on a temporary or even permanent basis. This crisis has been compounded by rising fuel costs and inflation, leaving some employers in a position where they can no longer afford to hire or retain their essential employees. Clearly, a shift is occurring that could disrupt industries and markets, impacting all stakeholders.
