Diversity & Inclusion in The New Work Environment

The importance of Diversity and Inclusion in the workforce has never been discussed as today. For most companies, globally speaking, this theme is one of the priorities in 2021.Although many companies have developed policies and talent banks for this, it is also necessary to : (i) develop concrete actions to better integrate people into the new professional environment and; (ii) have professionals who will deal directly with D&I.
In some countries, like in Brazil, there are labor laws that establishes a quota for people with special needs in order to include them in the labor market. In 90s, with the globalization, the companies faced a huge change in culture and communication due to the greater diversity of regions and people. However, this is not enough and doesn’t reflect the essence and meaning of D&I.
