South Africa as a Destination of Choice for International Dispute Resolution

South Africa is a land of dichotomies. Whilst being the commercial hub of the continent, and having what is widely regarded as the most advanced Constitution in the world, it battles with a high unemployment rate , rising fuel costs, instability relating to uninterrupted power supply and an exchange rate which sees the Rand frequently losing ground to major international currencies . The dichotomies become starker when examining how much has been achieved in a country that is only twenty years into its democracy, and is still reeling from the after effects of the former apartheid regime.
