Michael Burd is a partner and joint head of Lewis Silkin’s Employment, Reward and Immigration department. He crossed the Atlantic to complete his undergraduate studies in 1978 and never returned home. He advises on all aspects of employment law, with particular interest in boardroom issues, negotiating senior level departures and dispute resolution generally. His practice is highly international, dealing with both UK clients’ employment law needs globally and with UK issues for clients in numerous other jurisdictions. Michael contributes articles to various publications including Management Today and People Management and regularly speaks at client and industry conferences and seminars. He was formerly president of the City of Westminster Law Society.
