Automation of Non-disclosure Agreements: A Roadmap for a Legal Department to Gain Advantage Using AI (Artificial Intelligence)

September 2019
ContractElectronics

Abstract

Non-disclosure agreements (“NDAs”) for any corporation are an important tool to protect the exchange of information and avoid material legal fees and costs that may arise as result of a dispute for breach of confidentiality. At the same time drafting, negotiation and review of NDAs imply a time-consuming process that is repetitive and mostly covers the same legal questions/concerns. In a traditional legal organization, NDAs are likely reviewed by paralegals and/or lawyers and managed through different regional offices using different databases to classify them.
