Camélia Gardot is a qualified lawyer and holds a certificate in Leadership, Ethics and Corporate Accountability from Harvard Business School. Prior to joining Hertz as Director of Compliance in 2024, she served as Head of Compliance for the Connected Intelligence business at Airbus Defence and Space and as Head of Legal and Compliance for Egis’ aviation business. Over the course of her career, Camelia has developed extensive experience in driving the transformation and globalization of complex ethics and compliance programs. In addition, she is an active member of the French Compliance Society and coauthored the Society’s White Paper on Third Party Risk Management.
Christopher I. Pierson is Senior Legal Counsel – “Mergers and Acquisitions” at Airbus (Group). After 10 years in private practice in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and Miami as an associate and partner, Chris joined Airbus in 2019. He has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity fund work, venture capital financing and joint ventures. He graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
