Governing and Innovating for Good: The Public Private Frontier
Abstract
What does it mean for an organisation to govern and innovate for good? What principles can organisations enshrine – structurally or otherwise – to ensure the common good is always at the forefront? Such questions, common to the public and third sector, present curious challenges and learnings for lawyers operating at the public/private interface. The purpose of this paper is to explore this frontier landscape using the EU’s Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) as a case study.
