Global Subsidiary Compliance: Where are the Efficiencies?

October 2015
ComplianceIT

Abstract

Outsourcing is as old as the hills and any discussion around its increasing prevalence in today’s economy is merely a result of increased prominence in the media. Companies have worked with / partnered with other companies since the beginning of commercial endeavour. Yet, a brief examination of today’s business publications highlights references and articles extolling the virtues of the outsourcing (also now commonly termed “global sourcing, “smart sourcing” and so on) in today’s environment. What are the benefits of the Corporate Secretarial outsourcing and why do some companies extensively outsource large swathes of the activities and others none at all?
