Pietro Meineri is admitted to practice in New York, Switzerland and Italy and he is currently Senior Legal Counsel in the Governance team of Group Legal at Zurich Insurance. At Zurich, he provides legal and strategic advice on sustainability, emerging risks and global projects. He drives coordination with regional teams in monitoring global trends and developments and supports horizon scanning activities within Legal and across the broader organisation, contributing to shape the response to the geopolitical element. Before joining Zurich, Pietro practised at leading law firms in Milan and Zurich. He holds a law degree from the University of Pisa, a diploma in law from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, and an LL.M. from Harvard Law School. Outside his professional work, he chairs an association for geopolitics enthusiasts and leads a geopolitics focus group within the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Switzerland.
