Michael S. Solender is Global Vice Chair and General Counsel of EY (formerly Ernst & Young). He is also a Visiting Lecturer in Law at the Yale Law School. Mr. Solender was General Counsel and Senior Managing Director of The Bear Stearns Companies Inc. from 2004 until 2008. Prior to joining Bear Stearns, he was a partner at the law firm Arnold & Porter and General Counsel of the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission. Mr. Solender received his J.D. from Yale Law School and his B.A. from Columbia University.
