Before joining Optum in 2016, she was in private practice in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer’s London, Cologne and Dubai offices between 2005 and 2013 and in Matheson’s corporate department in Dublin from 2013 to 2016. Miriam received an LL.M. in Public International Law from University College London and worked for the German Foreign Office for three years where she obtained her first degree in Foreign Affairs before continuing her studies in law in England. Miriam is fluent in German, French, Spanish and English. Miriam is dual qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and in Ireland.
