Daniella Pellegrini van Rooyen is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She is currently a non-practicing attorney and works as in-house legal counsel primarily drafting commercial agreements, M&A documents and managing corporate structuring implementations. Daniella completed her LLB (with Distinction) from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2016 and completed her articles of clerkship at ENSafrica, Africa's largest law firm. At law school, Daniella finished top of her class for Estopple & Unjustified Enrichment Law, in the top 2% of her Taxation Law class, was on the Deans List 2014-2016 and is a member of the International Honour Society.
Prior to qualifying as a legal practitioner Daniella worked in the media industry and is still an active voice over artist. She studied a BA Sports Communications degree at Rand Afrikaans University and spent 6 years in London working in business which sparked her passion for Contract Law. Daniella has a keen interest in Contract Law, IP, Corporate Law, Sports Law and Entertainment Law. Daniella is an accomplished sports woman. Her gymnastics and tumbling career spanned 16 years where she was awarded South African national colours 8 times and took a number of medals at international sporting events, including winning the gold medal at the 2001 Women's 17&Over Tumbling World Championships.
