In-house Legal Department: A cost generating support function or a profitability centre?

Abstract

In-house legal teams, considered for a very very long time as the biggest enemy of the financial targets of salespeople, innovation teams, marketing gurus...., become day by day their closest friends. True or false? In this article, my objective is to explain and even more convince you that, even if they are not best friends, one cannot exist without the other to achieve their targets and even better the first one serves to the profitability targets of the other.
