Head of Legal, South East Asia, State Street, SingaporeAudrey NG joined State Street in 2015 and is Head of Legal for Institutional Services, South East Asia, and Deputy Branch Manager of State Street Singapore. She advises on custody, middle- and back-office, trustee services, corporate governance, fiduciary governance and regulatory change, and leads the Alternatives portfolio for APAC Legal.
Audrey has 18 years’ financial services experience. Prior to joining State Street, she was lead APAC lawyer for securities services at Northern Trust. She previously spent a decade in corporate and commercial private practice across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia, and was a law firm partner.
She holds an LLB (Hons) from King’s College London, is a Barrister-at-Law, is admitted in Malaysia and Singapore, holds an MBA with Distinction from Warwick Business School, and is a DBA candidate at Singapore Management University. Her earlier paper on relationship and service quality in legal departments was published in the International In-house Counsel Journal in 2022.
