Covid19 and the new Role of Legal and Compliance

Abstract

Lawyers and compliance officer are, basically professionals of the “status quo”. They seek assurance that everyone is performing in accordance with existing laws, regulations, and policies. So, “follow the rules has always been the obvious approach”. Covid19 outbreak has changed everything.

With prominent roll in the health sector Fabio is Board Member of the ASD – Associação Saúde Digital and Director of the Legal Committee of Abramed (Associação Brasileira de Medicina diagnóstica) leading association representing diagnostic medicine and digital health, with many articles published in various newspapers in Brazil. Holds LLM degree from University of Miami school of Law, MBA from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, and GD from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
