Artificial Intelligence: Use Cases are trending but there are more Questions than Answers!

Abstract

A “use case” focuses on the practical applications of a technology. The age of use cases for generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI) seems to be upon us. The emergence of OpenAI, Chat GPT4 and the impact it is having on the arts, lawyers, press rooms, and classrooms among others, are everywhere. The latest research on GAI and productivity from the McKinsey Global Institute finds that GAI has the potential to generate value equivalent to $2.6 trillion to $4.4 trillion in global corporate profits annually. On October 30, 2023, President Joe Biden issued an Executive Order on the Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
