Adopting Generative AI for Your Organization

Abstract

This paper reflects my experiences and studies from the past two years in adopting Generative AI. You can follow the steps outlined here to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI for your organization, particularly for profit-driven businesses facing intense competition. To begin with, it is crucial for organizations to find a balanced approach to AI adoption. Extremes — either completely rejecting AI or implementing it without proper controls — can have harmful effects. By rejecting AI, organizations risk missing out on early improvements that are crucial to maintaining a competitive edge. Conversely, adopting AI without adequate oversight can expose organizations to potential harm from inappropriate uses.
