Regulatory Impediments toward Commerce & Expatriation

Abstract

This paper focuses on expatriation challenges faced by multinationals. We will discuss a variety of regulations and their associated costs. While we will address various trade topics, key conclusions for in-house counsel will be in understanding immigration and tax considerations when exploring business opportunities abroad. In order that these concerns are put into context, let’s begin by discussing the broader topic of international commerce.
