Muyiwa Odeniyide is a Director & Associate General Counsel at Nasdaq where he is Co-Chair of AI Public Policy and advises on regulatory and commercial matters including emerging technology. Muyiwa also teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center. Muyiwa is a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations and an appointee to the New York City Bar Association's Presidential Task Force on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Technologies and its Subcommittee on Artificial Intelligence in Commerce and Finance. Prior to Nasdaq, Muyiwa was an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, where his practice focused on litigation, securities enforcement, and antitrust. Prior to law school, Muyiwa worked as a consultant at Ernst & Young. Muyiwa graduated from the University of Maryland College Park with a BS in Finance, and from Georgetown University Law Center, where he was awarded the St. Thomas More Award for outstanding work in legal ethics. While in law school, Muyiwa served as a Managing Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics, a Legal Research & Writing Law Fellow, and a Senior Writing Fellow. Muyiwa also worked in the Enforcement Division at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission and in the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice.
