Jorge PEREZ-VERA acts as senior in-house counsel in Total Marketing Services (New business and development legal department). In such capacity he is involved in M&A transactions of the downstream and associated disputes. Prior to joining Total, Mr. PEREZ-VERA acted as in-house counsel (international contracts, M&A), in RENAULT’s headquarters in Paris and also as an attorney in Gide Loyrette Nouel, Paris. Mr. PEREZ-VERA earned his law degree from Universidad Externado de Colombia (Bogotá) in 1986, and also received an L.L.M. and S.J.D. International Law from University of Paris II.
