Eric Schlam is Director, Law Department, Assistant General Counsel & Corporate Secretary for the Airlines Reporting Corporation (“ARC”)—an airline-owned organization which provides clearinghouse services on behalf of over 200 US and international air and rail carriers, and 13,000 US-based travel agents (ARC processed over $80 billion in 2014 and operates the largest data warehouse of travel data in the world). Eric has been with ARC since 1995 in a practice which includes contracts, intellectual property, general business law, data privacy and protection, litigation/arbitration and corporate governance. Prior to joining ARC he did litigation defense work as a civilian for the Department of the Navy. Eric has also done clerkships with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, U.S. House of Representatives and the Milwaukee County Circuit Court. He holds a B.A. with distinction in Government & Politics from George Mason University and a J.D. from Marquette University Law School where he was Associate Editor of the Law Review.
