Doing business in Mexico in 2012 under recent changes in key legislation

Abstract

Last year will be remembered by the number of key pieces of legislation that were introduced. Certainly this legislation will bring about changes in the way of doing business in Mexico going forward. Businessmen and international lawyers need to be abreast of developments in the areas of privacy, antitrust, litigation and minor changes to the corporate law, that will simplify company incorporation to the extent that it will no longer require involvement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
